Clay cohorts is the best place to start learning GTM engineering. It can be intimidating given how fast the tools are evolving, but the daily exercises are the best starting point and the community is incredibly supportive and engaged

FAQ

Yes! All cohort communication takes place in a private channel in the Clay Slack community. You must join the community before submitting a cohort application.

All cohorts run for 1 week. You should expect to set aside 3-4 hours each day to go through the content and build workflows. It is an intensive and involved learning experience so keep that in mind before you apply!

While the cohort is designed to help you learn at your own pace async, we offer several optional live sessions alongside to help you meet other learners, ask questions about the Cohort content, and dive deeper into GTM Engineering related topics outside of the immediate lessons!

You can find all live sessions on the course calendar on Uplimit once you’re enrolled.

Remember - these optional live sessions are offered to complement the async learning + peer-to-peer discussions happening on your private Cohort Slack. If questions come up, please feel free to post the question on private Cohort Slack following best practices for asking & answering a question, instead of waiting until a live session so that you are treading forward with your learning 🩷

We try our best to have at least one live session that works well for you, regardless of which timezone you’re in. We’d love for you to join, be on camera, and bring any and all questions and discussion points you have 🫶🏻

All calls are recorded unless announced otherwise.

We offer a small amount of credit to help you get started. As you complete each assignment, you will get additional credits based on your performance. (*this does not apply to Clay Enterprise Cohort)

This is done only once per workspace for the same cohort type in your lifetime – and will be issued automatically following the Kickoff call. Even if you have multiple users joining a cohort, the joining credits will remain the same.

Please note that the joining credit does not expire for 1 year. If you’re seeing that your joining credits are gone, it’s likely that you or someone else in your workspace has already used them so please check before inquiring.

You must wait at least 24 hours after creating a new Clay account before submitting your cohort application.

Cohorts are free to join.

For AI Skills Cohort, you can be on any plan to apply.

For Enterprise Cohort, you must be on an enterprise plan to enroll.

Graduation perks change from time to time. Currently, we provide access to our exclusive graduates community as well as additional credits that you earn along the way!

Please Note: Clay reserves the right to change cohort perks without prior communication. The terms communicated during the cohort in the private channel are applicable.

For free accounts, credits earned during a cohort will expire at the end of each month. Plan your cohort applications accordingly. For paid accounts, refer to the info on this page.

While additional credits aren't normally offered for cohort purposes, you can open a support ticket to explain your case if you run out during your cohort. Please use this template for the support ticket.

To switch cohorts, submit the Cohort Application Update form. This can be done during a cohort or after it ends (if you haven't graduated).

If you need to update the Clay Email or Clay Workspace ID you submitted in your application form, please contact Support (support@clay.com). Include both your original Email and Workspace ID, as well as the new ones you’d like to use.

Cohorts are exclusive and submitting an application doesn't guarantee acceptance. You will be informed whether your application was accepted at least 1 week before the cohort start date.

Multiple users belonging to the same Clay workspace can join as a team. However, credits are only issued once per workspace.

Certifications are a separate program within the Clay ecosystem. We highly encourage you to explore certifications once you’ve graduated from a cohort AND built out several advanced workflows on your own. You can read more on Clay Certifications here.
