This Claybook imports information about new hires like their favorite snacks and whether or not they requested company merch, provides a link to purchase those snacks, then sends all data to a Google Sheet.

First, copy this template in Clay:

Step 2:

Set up webhook

To get new hire data in Clay, paste the webhook URL into the POST method webhook configuration on the platform that will send data (e.g. Zoho People, Rippling, Gusto, Bamboo, etc.). Then map the fields in Clay columns 3-9 to the fields from that data sender.

Step 3:

Set up Google Sheet integration

To send data to Google Sheets, select your account and paste the URL.

Customize Claygent prompt

Last, if you want Claygent, Clay’s AI research agent, to return different types of onboarding gifts other than snacks, customize the prompt.
