Google Sheets integration

Google Sheets in Clay enables seamless integration between your Clay tables and Google Sheets, allowing you to easily sync and manage data across both platforms.

Enriching data with Google Sheets

1. While in a Clay table, click Actions and search for Google Sheets.
2. Under Enrichments, select one of the Google Sheets options.
3. In the modal, you will be asked to Select Google Sheets account.
   • If you haven't already connected your Google Sheets, click + Add account and go through authentication.

Lookup a row in a Google Sheet using a column and a value.

Action Update rows

Updates existing rows in a Google Sheet. Clay matches rows with a case-insensitive lookup on the column you choose, then writes your values into the columns you map.

Inputs

• Required: Google Spreadsheet URL
• Required: Sheet ID — the tab within the spreadsheet.
• Required: Lookup column and Lookup value — together these identify which row to update.
• Optional: Update multiple rows? — update every matching row. With this off, a lookup that matches more than one row fails instead of updating.
• Optional: Update fields — the columns and values to write.
